Hi all,

I did a search and did find a lot of threads about battery covers/boxes but mostly they were about a latch that was broken. I'm looking for the complete battery box for a Musicman Stingray 5 HH (about 10 years old)
Do I have to contact CC? The local dealer told me it might take up to a month before I get it and I have to use it on stage. (I'm in Holland btw)
Is there a way to install a 3rd party box? Or does anybody have a spare 1 in their house?
I don't really care if it is original or not.

Cheers,
Sonny

Contact voerman. They are the benelux dealer. They might have one in stock....if they dont it might take a while.

I contacted Tonika. A "premier" dealer. But without any parts :) And no idea when they would arrive.
But they said they'd ask how long it might take to get one.
I'll try voerman as well.

The premium dealers dont ususally have a huge parts suply. Voerman does have some on stock. If they dont have one, it will have to ship in from the usa

Isn't the battery box outsourced to Gotoh or some other manufacturer? I think (but not 100% sure) my '16 SR uses a Gotoh BB-04. That may or may not be what your bass uses. My point is, try to locate one from a source other than EB.

You can always do an interim ghetto fix with a 9V battery clip and a cavity lined with foam to hold the battery+clip in place.
