One Of the Best Basses on the PLANET, Hands down. Ernie Ball Has done it again, sounds Identical to my real 76's ONLY 100 Times quieter then any of my Leo Fender Stingray, and because it's an Ernie Ball- ZERO Neck issues.

This is super neat, hope that they bring back the classic with same pickup as these cause those old 76 pickups are amazing sounding. Any word on the ohms on the pickups? Are they 1300 like the 70s ones were. Super generous to offer what is essentially a vintage bass with a warranty and everything for less than half the cost!

It looks like the one used for the 1976 "Old Smooth" 40th Anniversary Basses. From memory their preamps were rebuilt to 1976 specs. They sound GREAT.

Oh wow yeah definitely post the smoothie preamp! I meant the caps, I was wondering if the caps themselves were NOS as I’ve heard the tantalum caps don’t go bad in the way that the electrolytic ones do
