It's amazing how the "this top sucks" thing got started in the first place. Anyone whose either owned an EBMM or spent at least an hour in this forum would know that there is no way a sub standard top would leave the desert.
Because a few people can't work a digital camera...an uproar takes shape, and thankfully, BP and company take the time to show us there the wonders of modern photography....if put in the right hands!
I just had a thought about this sticky thread. This is yet another Official EBMM Torture Thread, even if that was never the intent.
What's also kind of funny is that if you have an instrument on order, you can't be totally sure if you're looking at your own instrument unless your dealer tells you specifically that it is. So, it's even more torture, because you don't even know if it's yours.
The quilt on this one is sick. There's a face that reminds me of the Mufasa character from The Lion King. Or maybe, it just reminds me of James Earl Jones. Then, it looks like there's a lamb or something under his face.
Guys.
Thanks for the defense but I think it is unnecessary. Im glad that the subject came up and we could address it....thanks to the guys at Sevenstring.org esp Jaxadam and Karl Hungis...
THis thread makes good business sense and we should have thought of it earlier especially since we dont recommend ordering a BFR sight unseen due to the flame/quilt issue. THis also helps our dealers sell the guitars they get. If you like that one going to Pete....call him!
We are going to also require that dealers use these photo's only when advertising their inventory both in print and internet. This way we will get some consistancy in how the brand is represented.
