oh, and it may not be such a bad idea to also write what color/finish the guitar is in the thread? i'm actually partly colorblind and sometimes have difficulty telling what's a ruby, walnut, and what's not. there's a lot of variety in the finishes. this could also just be good for marketing/logging/whatever.

ex. John Petrucci Signature BFR 6 string Ruby Burst [Flame] ... serial # etc...

just a suggestion!

I think it's great for EB to do this as well, I find myself staring at the black burst over and over, absolutely beautiful. I can't wait for the suprise I get when I open the case for the first time and see what top I've gotten, man every day is gonna feel like a week while waiting!

Thanks BP, EB!

Awesome stuff. I like the thread and think it is a great idea.

This maybe a bit early but how long will the pics be staying up? (ie. anything older than 3 months taken down?) Or does Foggy e-mail CS with a check list and say I have a copy of everything pre- 05/09/07 so you can remove those pics :D just joking. Foggy should be an honorary EBMM employee and receive benefits & kickbacks haha ;):p:)

Yea, this years GAS has been off the charts....New Mark IV head, JP7 and now a BFR. I just put a deposit down yesterday, the salesman at a music store I checked out in North Toronto mentioned them to me. I asked, "you wouldn't happen to have a 6 string Black Burst coming in now would you
???? " He said yea, the only one out of the 4 that isn't spoken for". OK IM SOLD!

The best part is that they are due in this month, so I don't have to wait very long, I also found the EB wipes I've been looking so hard for. AWSOME day yesturday......Jesus sorry for the long winded post.

THis thread makes good business sense and we should have thought of it earlier especially since we dont recommend ordering a BFR sight unseen due to the flame/quilt issue. THis also helps our dealers sell the guitars they get. If you like that one going to Pete....call him!

hey how about some hijack restraint.....

they will be there for a long time.....we have the thread closed to keep the hijacks, the top sucks and the general tomfoolery down...this will be a really neat viral documen tation of the bfrs....
