My second go round with a BA 5 arrived and this one ain't leaving. I have hand issues
( OA ) so the first one's G string ( for me ) was to close to the edge of the board. But it worked out well and I replaced that with a Roasted Bongo.
But I had to give a BA another shot and whoa just another out of the park bass from the home kings of Bass builders. The passive tone are humongous. Can't wait to fire it up later. I had to introduce it right away. I have a Tort guard on order also.

Thanks all, so I got some good bonding time on it tonight and it's far past my expectations. One position that I found really surprising is that I'm not a fan of series but I am on this bass, especially in passive and the passive tones on the BA are nothing less than spectacular. Wow what a sick bass.
Thanks BP and Co. yet another masterpiece.

I hear ya there. I absolutely loooooove series (active or passive) on the BA. It's my go-to 80% of the time.
