I finally took a chance and got a Bongo 6 from Drum City and Guitar Land in Colorado. They overnighted it to me.

I was nervous since I have been playing 18 mm spaced basses. NO DIFFERENCE in the feel and I have chubby fingers.

GREATEST BASS EVER. I love it over my ken smith and roscoe so much they are going on to Ebay to fund my Bongo Fever.

I like the even string tension and the "bounce" I get on the thumb when slapping.

thanks for making an awesome instrument.

You bought it from a great bunch of guys! I use to do sound for all their drum clinics and they ROCK. I did not know they had any bongos, so I will have to go over there and check one out. You got a real beauty! Enjoy!

Funny how the Fever doesn't have an incubation period, it's just immediate.
I sold my other brands as well and I'm now MM's only.
Welcome to addiction thats good for you. Congrat's on a fine looking bass.
