Congrats Tunaman - smart bass......and Bongos have that special ooomph and coolness. Enjoy.

I wish I could accurately describe the Bongo tone... its like a powerful warm mid tone with just enough musicman bite. Its not as aggressive as the Sterling when you've got the settings at neutral but it can also get aggressive, but again, in a different way

Its just different than the Sterling in such a fun way. I love both tones.

Appreciate that my man, its my prize for creating the Amazon deals thread... total score, next one is yours

I don't know man, I cannot put this Sterling down. It's been in my number 1 chair for a record number of months.

Yup... no matter what bass comes in... even during its honeymoon period its not better than the Sterling. The pickup selector just has too many different awesome tones that can all be EQ'd to be unique & sweet.

Its tonal range is astonishing & its so fast to get the tone you want moving the selector & EQ a bit.

Mix it with the ridiculously versatile Shuttlemax 9.2 & any possible song that comes up in a cover band & the tone is nailed damn near exactly. Hell the bass is so damn good it doesnt matter what the hell amp you use :)
