The Buttercream Bongo 5HH that originally belonged to Moondog, then was owned by Disquieter is now mine.

Thanks to both of the previous owners for taking such good care of this fine instrument. It is in like new condition.

I'll post pics later. I tried to take some in the office but they looked pretty crappy.

It gets any colder here I may drive down to tejas and visit your gig this weekend Larry.

I'd love to go to Texas and hear Larry and Jack and several of our Texas forumites. I keep thinking Beth will have to go there for a meeting or something and I'll tag along... then disappear and hang with you guys. Should I bring my Bongo's?

I love getting a new bongo. I hate freezing rain. Hope you don't get the freezing rain down there.

I do believe a toast is in order this evening for Larry having gotten a BC bongo.

I agree, it's 4:15pm here and I'm crack'n open a Bud!

ha-rumph, ha-rumph! "Here's up to it, ...down to it ...and if you can't do it, I'll do it, cause I'm use to it!" (I don't have a clue what means, but Craddock said it a lot...)

Enjoy the Bongo, and let the ButterCream Flow!

Erg, I want a BONGO!!!!

Andrew
In an about-face to the usual advice from elders to young folk, a Bongo isn't a 'Want', it's a 'Need'. Everyone needs a Bongo: Aunt Lilly, Dub'yuh, Stank, Wooten, Patitucci, my boss, Mike Tyson, my sister, Chef, Charles Taylor, Osama, Brittney & clones ..... you get the idea.

Congrats to Mobay. On-time arrival for a weekend gig. Cool as a moose. My 4HH went from GC to gig in about an hour, never stopped at home base.

Come to town on March 4th. You can start with Cowpilot in Coppell and then move to Ft. Worth for Railhead!

I hope Cowpilot gets a regular gig there. That's not too far from my house and I would like to see them when they aren't playing the same night as I am.

And TK, Ben's spot on. That cold weather will be here by tomorrow. 82 for a high today and 42 for a high tomorrow.
