I have a new (to me) Bongo in the house. Here's my new Bongo 4H Blue Dawn LE. I have some other beautiful MM basses but the paint job on this is out of this world. Even more impressive is the tubby, rich, thick, clear, punchy, massive tone that flows from this single H beast. It arrived at 11am this morning and I've only put it down to eat meals and put the kids to bed. I love my BA and SR, but... Long Live the Bongo.

I always wanted a Single H Blue Dawn Bongo. Excellent score Sir! Please send me the first PM if you ever decide to get ride of her (highly unlikely). JOSH

BTW... Very nice lawn you have there.

Lovely, I might add. It's not just cut - it's sculpted. ;)

Thanks! My dad would be so proud of that comment! He could have cared less about the basses. ;)

I've got a blues band audition coming on about a week. This Blue Dawn 4H is just what the doctor ordered for such a gig. This new band won't know what hit them.

BOngo....bongo bongo....Love my bongos

Me too BP. This single H is something special. I rerecorded some parts last night for a personal project I'm working on and it sounds so clear and sits just right in the mix. My 5er and fretless Bongos each have their own voice, but this one keeps making me smile ear to ear. I pushed the low end EQ just a pinch and rolled off a small bit of high (the brand new Slinky's had a little too much zing). What a tone!

Again, thank you BP. All your basses have such a way of cutting through that it's making me a much better bass player.
