Just got another five string Bongo 5HH last week in the LE blue dawn color and tried to take some pictures, it's hard to get that sparkle to come out like it does when you have it in front of you. It's a great bass just like my Stealth, quality is very consistent so far and the finish is unbelievably beautiful, so congrats to BP and the team that builds these. I think I may be turning into a Bongo(5) collector since I also have a rosewood neck one coming soon, these basses are very addictive, as you bongoloids obviously know!

The pickguard is off right now because I have a clear guard coming and there's no way I'm covering up that sparkle finish, it's almost a crime to hide it!

Very nice indeed, if you are becoming a collector try one with a piezo next time, opens a whole new spectrum to an HH Bongo, is what I've found.

Great basses. :)

There quite simply is nothing better in the world than being able to say " I have a new Bongo."

It's not exactly a "new" Bongo of course, but the original owner kept it in pristine condition with all the tags included.

The rosewood neck Bongo will be a 5HS in Cabernet Pearl, something a little different this time. I would like to get a piezio someday in the single H configuration.

Bongo lovers are kindred spirits.

I still say getting a new to you bongo is an exciting event.

Enjoy the bongo and it sounds as if you have another on the way so throw a party.

I love my bongos. Best sounding basses in the business.

Mark, I was right on my guess that was a Blue Dawn. LOVE it. Good call on a clear pickguard so you don't have to hide all that sparkly goodness! Nice one, man!

Wow...that is stunning.

ANd carbernet pearl is an awesome looking colour, and with a rosewood neck it will be such a classy looking bass.

Congratulations!
