welcome and congats on the white Bongo. Nice to know there won't be too many of them. The white on white looks great but I must say I love tort on that combination too.

Oh, and the Bongo sounds absolutely amazing through my GK1001RB/AguilarGS112/EACXL110 rig, too.

I purchased this Bongo from Bass Central. The serial number is: F11178
I've now had the bass in a variety of lighting conditions and thus far I haven't been able to discern a difference in color. It can appear different under certain glare as the satin finish diffuses light. Take away the glare, though, and they appear to match. No matter. The plays so well and sounds so good the neck could be grey and I'd still be lovin' it!
It does sound great through the 1001RB-II

I saw the Sterling with the tort pickguard that was recently posted. That's a really great combination! I don't think I'll remove the pearloid from the Bongo tho. The look is really striking! I thought it would take some time to get used to the look of the Bongo but I'm well over that. This bass is beautiful!
