I doubt there are many floating St-Bruno!! I still want that Sterling, I haven't played them back to back, but to my ears I think I prefer the ceramic pickups to the alnico of the SR5. But then take out the SR5 and play it at a gig, and see how well it sits in the mix, and I come back to my senses. I guess I'll just have to wait a little to save up...... but maybe by then I'll want a 25th aniiversary!!!!:eek:

i can relate to your dilema. I'm making mathers worse by introducing a bongo in my mix.

back to the topic, more EBMM dealers around here is a big plus. especially one that also stocks markbass. I will have to try them soon.

Dave only has a few Stingrays. I've never seen a Bongo at Club Bass

He just sold a Dargie Bongo (HS I think). He does currently have mostly Stingrays, but at least one Sterling (5HH, I think). Yes, I check his site darn near daily, it's like Russian roulette for my credit score.
