That looks like a really interesting "quilt" pattern on that top... On a side note, a friend of mine just picked up one of Darin Malakian's old PRS CE24s - I guess he's been playing Gibson mostly the last little while...

I guess that's the one we saw under construction at the open house. Does anyone know when the Iron Maiden one will go up for auction? Did I miss it? That's the one I'd like to bid on - my brother is a big fan.... :D

Yep, that is the one from the Open House being built. I have all kinds of pics of it along with Iron Maiden one.....Personally, I hope it sells for a ton of money, great cause and a great guitar.

I would love to....however, there was a certain one I saw that I am waiting for and I will make sure it goes for a hefty sum....until then, I will stand idly by.......plus, I have an itchy feeling a certain Stealth Bongo might be in the works very soon. ;)

Hey Guys

Thanks for bidding on this item. We will get the current auction item fixed on the CLB site.

The Iron Maiden guitar has not been put up for auction yet. We have that one and the Metallica signed guitar next. Hopefully we can put the IM up in the following months.

Will keep you guys posted.

Thanks

Derek

Just out of curiosity, I saw quite a few CLB guitars waiting for final assembly. What is the usual time in between auctions you guys go before putting another one up? Is it once the guitar is complete it goes, or do you wait and do the auction on a 2 to 3 month basis? Just curious.....

Hi Koogs,

There is no set time table. We may have a few auctions all in a row or we may space them out. The System of A Down auction was timed to coincide with the release of their new CD which dropped November 22nd. We have been waiting for a couple of months to jump on the hype and promotion of "Hypnotize".

The Iron Maiden signed guitar may be next and that might be sooner than later. We have a bunch of stuff to auction including some vintage cars.

I must be the only one who likes System of a Down.... That aside, the guitar itself is HOOOOOOT baby... Even that aside, it's a good cause.... If ( for some ODD reason) the auction doesn't get any higher and I win.... I'll give them my High bid anyway.....

*edit* Bump......

Warg, sorry to see that you lost out on the auction. :(

Glad to see that the auction made some $ for a great cause.

Yeah, oh well.... now I can order one. :D

Some moron tryed to "scam" me.... did a piss poor job too. Appearantly I got a "SEcond chance offer" from yahoo.com...... RRRRIIIIIGHT, the e-mail didn't even look anywhere near what a Second Chance offer looks like. Didn't even BOTHER to try and hide the fact I wasn't being emailed from e-bay. What a dip****.

Do people actually fall for that stuff?
