His email is [email protected].

Did not have a camera with me or I would have some pics but trust me awesome stuff.

OK how about Shell Pink my bass friends, took these pics today at the North Dallas GC, this is one for the Dallas Guitar Festival, Robbie opened up to send a pic to someone who inquired about it and since I was there thought i would take a pic to share, this bass is just awesome.

I was trying to buy this bass on sunday. I asked my local store I wanted to put a deposit to secure it, and they told me I couldn't because it was going to the show. :(

I think if you offered to buy it and take it you'd be fine, but a deposit doesn't secure a full sale, The guitar show in most cases is a SALE as in Sold, I had a Friend just buy a Candy Apple Red Classic that was also going to the show and they had no problem selling it. Hope this helps.

I know you are right. I just didn't know how show basses worked, if they could be bought beforehand, deposited, whatever.

Just call Robbie at the North Dallas store, you can reserve it, and get it after the show, they wil take extra good care of it, i have a piece or too;) already paid for that will be on display at the show, I have no worries:)

Played the Lake Placid Blue today at GC N. Dallas. That is a fantastic Classic..the action on this is low, the small frets and a wonderful fretboard make it a dream. Had it burping like a baby through an SVT, then rolled in the bass for something real solid. Sounded tremendous.

The color is nice, has metal flake...trade my mint green for this one???

There was also a pink classic that looked unbelievable.

*tear*....I want one

I was in the San Bernardino GC today, buying my son an Iron Maiden tab book for his 14th birthday, wher I saw a freshly unboxed CAR/maple SR4 Classic Deluxe with some nice birdseye. It sounded great, like all of them do, but this one was light - it couldn't have weighed more than nine pounds!

Will somebody please buy my 30th in classifieds?

I love my CAR! The vintage colored neck goes so well with that red, truly beautiful!

I know from reading your posts you have back problems and are looking for sub-nine, but I thought you wanted a natural! At any rate, don't quote me on what my perception of the acyual weight was.

That being said, the CAR in the SB GC is the lightest SR4 I've ever felt, Classic or standard!

The Natural was just too heavy at over 10 lbs...I REALLY want a 9 lb Natural in THE WORST POSSIBLE WAY....:D

I am becoming less concerned about the Finish and more concerned about weight and tone these days though...Working on about 4 different EBMMs at the moment and it seems to be coming down to just getting the weight where I need it but not give up anywhere else to get it...I appreciate the heads up and I am going to check it out next week if it is still there...I am out on a road stretch now so it is a bit hard to do much about anything...LOL! Thanks again!

Peace,

T
