I had a TR6 in that color (British Leyland Green).
I'm trying to come up with a memory that doesn't include being hip-deep in the engine compartment.

Go figure; the country where it rains everyday can't come up with a simple points / condensor / coil system that will work in damp weather.

So many great colors; it's too bad that the masses won't order them.

Now if there was just some kind of custom color ordering system where the buyer threw down an extra C note and waited until the factory could fit the order in.
50% down / no money back if you pull out / maximum wait time 6 months

Don't feel too sorry; they've had arguably the most influential rock bands of all time Beatles, Stones, Beck, Clapton, Zep, etc. (OK Jimi is the notable exception who many call king)

Semi-related question:
All this talk if purple; how rare is this color?
Hom many instruments made in either a transparent, solid, or sparkle finish?

It took me months of agonizing to choose a color for my Bongo last year. I went with True Gold and could not be happier. I think EB has the wildest colors ever applied to basses and guitars. Makes it so much more fun then sticking to the basics.
