Decided to go with another SSS instead of the Single H. One for flats and one for rounds. You'll see an awesome Single H Big Al up for sale soon.

Like them lots! Are the actual body shapes different? White one appears rounder, larger lower bout, upper bout on dargie is sharper......... Or is it just my old eyes?

Perfect! Congrats!

The ebony board of the dargie looks so nice. Is there a big difference in the sound besides the flats? Both are alder bodies I believe.

Nope, just different angles.

that must come to me, now. sorry, its a forum rule that all dargies come visit nashville. some like to stay long long times.

I'm not weak willed and in love with you like Jack...no dice...

I saw a dargie on the sale post for a few hours, then gone, at a great price. Is this that one?

Maybe ;)

Congratulations, Paul. The Dargie Delight II must be one of the cooles finishes for the Big Al ever!

Man that is bee-U-tee-ful!!! What's the deal with the Big Al Dargie's? Can they be special ordered or do they make a limited run and give them to the dealers? Love the ebony board on that thing!

Its hard to find Big Al 5s in many colors. I've checked all the main places, maybe a smaller lesser known place? I haven't seen a Dargie
