How do I get an orange swirl pick guard for my white Big Al 4? That is just so cool looking.

Since EBMM doesn't make that material any longer, unless you can find one NOS you're out of luck.

However, Pickguard Heaven has a material called Tiramisu that looks very similar, at least in their sample photograph.

I don't know if they've got a Big Al pattern yet, so you might need to send them your pickguard to copy.

I'm toying with the idea of doing that for my Tangerine Orange BA once it arrives. First things first....

What config did you go for, again? I've got a 5HS Bongo pickguard in orange swirl that I'm trying to get rid of....

BA 5 SSS, Rosewood, Non-matching, tort guard, Tangerine Pearl.

I've got a tort guard on my Desert Gold Bongo and it looks great, so I tried to get as close to that as possible.

Just my $0.02, but orange swirl doesn't feel right for the Bongo. There's something about the Big Al, though, that makes me think it'd look great on that bass.

They have the pattern for the 4SSS and 4H, they should have it for the fives too...I emailed them at one point when I was thinking of getting another guard.

Duh. I knew that. I'm just so used to you buying Bongos....

I think the finish is more important than the shape with the orange swirl. But, the Big Al pickguard has lots of real estate so crazier patterns work well.

Pickguard Heaven does have the patterns for 5 string Big Als--they just don't have them listed on the website yet. They are the same price as the Stingray 5 pickguards.
