Hey everyone! Just got the word from Steve Blucher over at DiMarzio that they're adding me to the list of endosers for the pup's, straps and cables! Seems like this year has just been absolutely nuts and wide open for me and the kids! I think we were due to have a good after the last few..lol!
I just wanted to share the good news! Maybe if things slow down just a bit..I could spend a little more time here..well..maybe not just yet..I wanna add another Petrucci to the stable..maybe a seven stringer..and maybe I'll slow down after that..uuhhh..yeah..that's it..lol..
oh yeah.. for anyone wanting to check out some things.. there's some tunes and editorials here.. www.myspace.com/intellishred
Going into the studio next week to start laying all the tracks for the cd that's to accompany the instructional book with NGW and Alfred..back back to do final edits and arrange some dates to flim some stuff for Workshop Live!.. and then it'll be off to Namm from there to try and keep it all rolling and moving forward.
Thanks for letting me share..
God Bless,
Kevin

Very cool!!!!

So what's your favorite DiMarzio bucker out of curiousity? I have a Norton/PAF Joe set coming for a PRS. And I love the stock axis pickups, so I know I'm leaving that alone when it gets here. LOL

It depends on the body wood and such really.. in Maple capped Mahogany, I like the Super 3..not in the catalog currently but they will make you one if you ask for it. (As loud and strong as an EVO without the quirky top end)..in all Mahogany I prefer the Tone Zone in the bridge..for quiet single coils with a nice snap I use the HS-3 in the neck and middle..in lighter bodies I like the Breeds for a little warmth/slightly hot more vintage tone or the Air Norton/Steve's Special combo which is the platform for what I believe are in my EBMM Petrucci..IIRC those pups are based on the AN/SS combination.

Sweet deal !!!

I always thought Dimarzio's were sweet and I used to use the FRED in almost all of my guitars (not the EBMM's of course:D )

some of you have just gotten an e-mail from me about this..but here's the deal.. if you boogie over to www.dimarzio.com and click on the PLAYERS tab and then click on COMPLETE PLAYERS LIST .. you'll see me listed in the j & k column along with Joe Satriani, Joe Stump, John Norum, John Petrucci, and Kiko Loureiro.
Click on my name and up will pop my DiMarzio endorsement profile.. sound clips will be up in the next coming days.. the photo was taken by my son Colton (also a Petrucci player).. who btw turned 12 today! Bonus kind of day around here this evening!!!
