Awesome video. I can't wait to see a live DVD from the tour. I bet some of that footage will be in there, as it looks like its a totally pro shot thing.

It's a great video...

Phil, there won't be a DVD. They brought out the crew specifically for the video.

A while back MP said there would eventually be a tour DVD, so think there may eventually be one, but then again they were supposed to tour North America in the spring and now they're not, so who knows? Haha.

My fav song from the album... I KNEW it was going to be a hit!

But the best solo on that album from JP has got to be "The Best Of Times"! I've not heard him play like that in a LONG time...

Not what I expected, but I liked it. I prefer this documental approach to everything they've done before. They weren't homing for MTV anyway, so this works out better for them.

I love the Stealth Bongo 6 cameo and the BFR that is shown just after that. Both instruments look gorgeous.

John Myung seems to become more and more recluse member of the band, you don't even see him in the video until half way through it.

John lets his bass do the talking for him ... It's what I like during the DT show : on the album the bass is not present enough in the mix but in convert you really hear how great JM is.
The video is nice especially for me because there are images from the Paris show ... and I was there :D

Couldn't agree with you more. He's almost like a ninja of sorts ;)

I met JM (and JP) outside their Southampton gig. JM didn't say one thing:

"Hi, er...I'm a massive fan."
*JM smiles and nods*
"Is it alright if we get a picture?"
*JM nods*
*We stand and get picture*
"Thanks so much."
*JM smiles and shakes our hand*

I disagree about the bass not being present in the mix.

I think it sits in the mix perfectly. Not so loud all you get is bass and not so quiet all you get is guitar. The bass tone is much different on this album than previous ones. It's got much more resonance and depth to it, not so much pop. It blends so well with the rest of the music you can't really tell it's there, but take it away and the whole album would lose it's power.

that's the thing that's so cool about JM. He reminds me of jazz legend, Ed Bickert, exact same thing.
I attended a jazz master class with Bickert and Don Thompson. Bickert said nothing except some nods and smiles.

The video is awesome, the song is awesome.

Nice simple video, just shows the band doing what they do best and them just having a great time. Video clips with big special effects are great and all, but sometimes l just love watching a video clip of bands just goofing.
