oh and PeteD - I'm not in your league yet re "Thread teasing" - but I think I'm getting better??
i've had a few great example set for me of thread teasing...

I love those amps... my uncle had one many years ago and i begged him if he ever got rid of it i got the first dibs... needless to say he sold it without me being informed...

Cheers guys - had a great gig - got paid an extra 100 bucks so it must have been good - free drinks all round all night too!!

The drummer (hell what does he know) said it sounded great. I thought it was good too. I'm still learning with it but hell, dive in at the deep end eh?

Tonight just had the BCB also had my AER.

Yeah good amp, good amp!!

Cheers guys.
I'm taking the chasis out of the cabinet in the next day or two.
This amp could very well have the original valves so I'll get them changed and the bias checked out.

Great little amp that deserves it's place in the history of amps. (Don't be put off by the solid state pre amp.)
I reckon they will become quite collectable.

It doesn't have the dirt of my Marshall - it's not a shredders amp - however it "likes" a pedal out front.
I loved it when I used it live last Friday. Now getting to a problem storing these amps - but I still have a space for a RD65 112 lol
