I absolutely love mine! Being able to set minimum volume, having the ability to boost if you want, its a pedal I've always wanted. Its great for a 1 channel amp (or two channel, if there is dedicated clean and overdrive channels) where you have a great overdrive sound that you'd like to use for rhythm and lead, but you want a volume boost for lead.

Off topic, somewhat related:
I've been thinking over the past few months how it would be nice to have a volume pedal that has some sort of noticeable notch or detent in the pot sweep. You could use the notch/detent as a base reference point for rhythm and then move it up to full volume for leads and just as easily return it to the base position. I use my volume pedal in the loop to control overall volume, so folks who run their's in the front of the amp probably wouldn't see as much benefit in a design like I described.
I try doing this with my VP Jr. but it's hard to gauge where the "home" position is when you're moving the pedal back down.

With the MVP there is a pot to set a minimum volume which could be 0 or more. You can set your minimum volume so that when your volume pedal is normally "off" or "heel down" you have your rhythm volume. From there you can increase the volume for a lead. Tone stays the same or you can turn up the boost pot on the pedal and get some more gain as you increase volume.
