my 2 cents : don't like the look of the reflex in black, makes its proportions look wrong. And im not keen on the big dots. aesthetically, its one of the things i've always like about EBMM necks is the small dots. it sets them apart from almost everyone else.

that said, i am still gassing for a 2hum AL.

That Reflex is quite a nice surprise. I thought they wouldn't see the light of day until summer NAMM...can't wait to see the color options.

I'm with mr.b. and buckethead on that - neither the body shape, nor the colour, nor the big dots are appealing to me. In fact, it's a great thing that now there is the first EBMM that I'm deffinitely not GASing for.

It surely sounds as great as any EBMM, though, no concerns there.

I'm the opposite... I love the look of the big dots....:D

not sure about it in black though... but I'm sure if I had it here I could live with it...;)

 Very cool. Thanks for the photo, James. I'm wondering......are these going to be Guitar Center exclusives until the official unveiling in the summer?

Wow - I guess I missed that at NAMM! (it must have been hidden behind the triple bucker AL)

Can't wait until they hit the rest of the market.

Hey Pete - is it to late to legally change your stores name to DuBaldo Guitar Center? so you can get in on these early exclusives? Just a thought...

Oh man... a black/white HH AL. I'm trippin' balls over here (pun intended).

Zombi - what's your given name? I'd look kinda stupid if I went in there asking for you by your s/n ;) If you wanna PM it to me instead of posting it, do that. I'm a 20 minute drive from the store. I was just in there yesterday and bought some Duncan Blackouts from Nicholas.

hahahahaaaahahahaaaa...

hahahaaa

I was never a fan of the covered pick-ups but the more I looked at the 25th, the more I liked them. I wonder if there gone for good?

I'm digging the Reflex...of course I'm digging my 25th. If you haven't yet played one or picked one up, you really need to check it out. They are extremely versatile and breathe good tone!

OK GC will only get a few of these in advance due to their spec'ing them and the buyers guide...before the classic series these were going to be the focus of the first quarter.

Dont stir up crap with Pete and Guitar Center. That is BS. Pete knows it too....

After these first few you will have to wait.

What kind of name is terramaze?

Pete knows I was just kidding BP. I didn't want it to seem like I was stirring up anything, I wasn't - it was just a small joke since Pete's store on-line is called DuBaldo's Music Center.

Sorry Pete, if my comments were taken the wrong way...

lol, I always seem to be 180° from the masses. I think it looks awesome in black, and normally I don't zebra pups, but it really works on a black reflex. I do agree the large dots are a bit tonka toy, but if that's the worst thing on that guitar I'd gladly take one -- with piezo please!!

Glenn, I was joking because neither of those models were shown at NAMM. It's kind of nice to get a surprise new product once in a while, isn't it?

We get spoiled with so much of the new stuff shown on the forum, be it just before NAMM or while in prototype stage, that sometimes we expect to get all the sneak peaks. We didn't get any info on the Reflex and it's a nice surprise to see them coming out so early!

I have no problems with GC so please don't create them for me, even as a joke!
