you should know by now BP rumors of a new guitar and we see anything slightly shaped like a EBMM headstock and we're gonna speculate.

Thanks for letting us enjoy the speculation and as always the anxious unveiling continues...

Yup, remember the photo composite from the pieces BP posted of the Majesty?

There's an avid fan base here hungry for info! :)

NEW EBMM "CRAFTED IN" LABEL posted to Facebook/Twitter Just a NEW LABEL or NE...

I am on Facebook. Which page was this posted to?

I thought I had "liked" the official EBMM page. Am I mistaken?

Edit! I found the page.

It's quite a thin bodied guitar eh? The curves on the bottom and towards the butt end remind me of a JS body. It looks as if it will be a double cutaway strat shape looking under BP's left arm. It also looks like a standard EBMM vintage bridge.

Very interesting.

Slightly off topic: are EBMM not at NAMM this year then?

Third guitar on the wall has a pickup switch on the upper horn? With an HH configuration, could it be a cross between a Petrucci and a Silhouette (Special)? All speculation of course and probably not even close..

Really interested in the end product!

Well that pic kinda let the cat out of the bag.

They kinda look like on offshoot of the Fender Duo Sonic, but with a nice EBMM twist.

Definitely looks like it'll be a unique model for the company. Looks intriguing.

Hunter is a great guy from my area. We have all seen him grow and develop into the artist he is today.

Always nice to see a local boy done good!

They might do a rosewood neck, and very likely a rosewood fretboard option. You could get one like that and throw some Zexcoils in it. Alex Lifeson's current Rush tour strat has a Zexcoil Juicy Bucker in the bridge and he gets all the HB tone he wants. Just an idea.

Personally, I'm stoked by this. I love the AL but I can see this being a mainstream strat killer. It'll look similar to a strat, but destroy strats everywhere I'm sure, or else BP wouldn't be for it.. For all those guys that are used to strat comfort and ergonomics, yet long for the detail and perfection of EBMM guitars, this'll be the answer. The aftermarket pickup selection out there now, IMO, destroys the old HB vs SC guitar paradigm. There's Lawrence, SD, DMZ, Zexcoil, Barden and more. I mentioned the Lifeson/Zexcoil example because Zexcoil does equally well vintage/modern SC and HB sounds in the same SC form factor, all without hum. Sometimes both in the same pickup. I am putting a Zexcoil Convertible in my Morse with a series/parallel switch to go between single coil/humbucker tones.

i could totally get into a Silo Special with HH options -

This model has a lot of potential options based upon what Hunter has been playing... Tele's and Strats so there's got to be something in there that both BP and Hunter saw as a potential to whoop up on the classics or else they wouldn't do it.

That being said Hunter has a LII/III so could be along those lines as well... should be a great announcement for the company regardless...

I would love to see that model with a rosewood board and a bucker in the bridge at least, the bridge on those things look different than the vintage MM...??
