Hi Gang,

Michael saying hi from BC, Canada. I am thrilled to be joining this forum; it is an honour!

A quick bio about myself: returning to playing after several years of hiatus with just one interest in mind - playing good music. That’s where those EBMM come really handy, don’t they :)

Ever since I started playing (late 90s), I’ve always wanted a MM. Now, that is about to (soon) come true. I am currently awaiting a Majesty Monarchy 7, and a St. Vincent - two very different instruments but so exhilarating to play!

Now, there’s that Saturn Gold Valentine that I really like, too... oh, decisions, decisions, decisions!

Greetings! I love my Valentine. Husker red (which I thought was a solid color, turns out to be metal flake). Enjoy whatever you get

Thank you everyone for warm welcome, I greatly appreciate it.

I am oozing excitement about getting the Majesty Monarchy, as well as the St. Vincent. While I ordered the former because it’s the best modern-tone axe available out there (no question), the latter has intrigued me since its official announcement. I admit that I am more favourably disposed to single coils and their tone, so the mini-HB config of the STV sounds very compelling; the way I hear it feels like a crossover between a HB, and a SC of a guitar. Love it!

With respect to the Valentine, I really dig the way it sounds - such a massive classic tone in a modern package; it’s got that sweet HB sound reminding me of very classic vibe, plus the coil tap at the neck position makes it very versatile; the SC at the bridge position pierces through almost any other sound. The Saturn Gold colour reminds me of similar finishes from the 50s, except for that metal flake compound in it - very cool! I will say thoug, the Husker Red variant is very close 2nd on my list!

Thanks again for welcoming me. Keep those groovy tones coming!
