Nice to see things haven't changed. I bought an Axis from a GC 11 years ago and they couldn't find the bar for it either and sent me home with a bar from a different Floyd type setup that didn't really fit. They said they would order me a new one and would ship it to me. Well, I contacted EBMM customer service, new bar in the mail in not even a week. GC, weeks later.

Moral of the story, GC loses trem bars and EBMM customer service is top notch.

This brings me back too! About 16 years ago (had only been playing guitar for a year), I bought a Jackson from GC and they gave me a Ibanez bar! Haha!! Things never change!!

That is totally great on BP part to help but in all fairness it is not their responsibility but that is why the company is top shelf. I personally do not deal with the big chains but I cannot put a bum rap on them for this either. Years ago you would see the same sales guys working a few years, now they go through them like a revolving door, though I can only speak for the NY stores.
