Just wanted to stop by and say hello. I just purchased a new EBMM Axis that I received a couple days ago. So far I am impressed with the quality of construction......the guitar appears flawless! Never been exposed to a Floyd Rose but I am a mech engineer so I am intrigued by the design and perceived complexity. I am not a fan of skinny necks but I believe the thickness of the neck compensates for the relatively narrow 1-5/8" width.....so far no problems. It seems weird, but I feel like I am playing better with this guitar than with my Fenders or Gibsons......maybe I'm jazzed up because it is new and looks great. I'm a casual player that gets together with friends almost every Friday to hangout, play music and have fun. I will give it a thorough run through tonight. I look forward to contributing to this forum whenever I can.
