Actually, one last thing to do. How does one tighten the whammy bar on this JP bridge? Right now it's flying loose VH style.

EDIT: Never mind. Found out what to do. Had to hunt down an allen key. Alas, my key set has been absconded with and must get a new set.

Well, the JPX7 arrived and this one made me laugh. Perfect action and arrived in tune....but the store must have had the guitar in the case for quite a while because the g, b, and high e were BLACK. Pics tomorrow.

Jack,

Welcome to the Forum. You started right off with a super nice pair of guitars! Way to go!!

My local GC has had a lot of problems with not enough humidity and frets popping on most of the guitars (all makes). I am sure, when EBMM Petrucci items leave SLO, they are built for speed and ready to go.

Enjoy your new guitars! I'll be posting pics of my new Axis tonight when I get home.

Here the hell are the pictures!!

JPX6 - She's been a little finicky setting up but all is good now

JPX7 - This one was perfect out of the case aside from the stinky old dirty strings so I put on some nice shiny Slinky 10's (I'm gonna give them a shot after being a D'Addario user for 25 years...If I can branch away from Ibanez guitars, I can try different strings as well)

Things EBMM players know that Ibanez players may not. 1. Barolo is difficult to photograph. :)
