I very much dig the color and see it as a tribute to Mike Greene personally. I'm just not sure what I want/need and I'd have to move something personally to get something.

Maybe an AL SSS or a Silhouette, just don't know. Are the Y2D's available as well?

Hate to say it....but the sparkle series is a letdown for me. Maybe its perhaps nothing can really ever top last years run. We got cool color, roasted neck, stainless frets, pau ferro... I mean... if stainless frets had come with this, then I'd consider it but just a color? Really?

Sorry to hear it's not your cup of tea, but that will happen. Agreed, the Black Sugar was excellent, but this isn't bad, it's mainly just a special paint job from the standard instrument selection, but it's a very cool color from a paint/sparkle/finish stand point in my opinion. Since they stopped making the sparkle finishes people have been clammering for them, I know, I have 4 different colors of my own and they are very cool if you are into that sort of thing.

I agree roasted and other things would be nice, but I understand why they aren't offered. At least they are doing this.

I wonder why green sparkle was selected first?? EBMM, anyone??

So... After thinking about it for a day or so, and talking to my GF... I finally ordered a JP6 Standard in Emerald Green Sparkle! Can't wait for it to arrive. The best thing about it is, that she is going to color her hair in the color of my Guitar, as soon as it arrives :D

This quote in the posting by Willy D has me a little confused:

"Introducing the Select Sparkle Series!

* Note - Not available on Game Changer Models
Current pick guards, and matching head stock option."

Does this mean that a matching headstock is not available? (Only natural headstocks are shown)

Pete--- Can you or anyone else confirm? Can I get an Emerald Green Sparkle Axis with matching headstock?

I'm considering an Emerald Green Sparkle Steve Morse Y2D with matching headstock. I wonder if the back and sides of the body can be green instead of Opaque Black?

Pete or AJ... The part about the pick guard....does that mean a Silo Spec or an Albert Lee isn't possible?

Stratty, all instruments with the exception of the Game Changer and the Armada are possible. The part about the pickguard is that you get to choose what pickguard you want.

From Pete, "A hardtail AL HH with your choice of pickguard".

Silo special is going to look killer in this paint, trust me on that!!!!

This is simply a color option, it does not limit or increase any of the options that were normally available on a given instrument. Go ahead and order that Axis with a matching headstock!

Pete is correct. Normal options apply. For example, you could order an Albert Lee SSS with a trem, matching headstock and white pearloid pickguard.
