So after months and months (far too many) of recording, my band has finally released a 5 song EP. The Game Changer is played on all but 1 of the songs (that one has the Stingray), and has been such a treat to record with, to the point where I feel I'm truly spoiled by it. Whenever I plug it in to either an amp or a recording interface, if I'm not digging the tone I just mess around for a few seconds until I am. There's been times recently where I've pick up a different bass, and if I'm not loving the tone I go to mess with it and feel limited by the lack of options compared to the Game Changer. While I get it's not for everyone, it's truly a dream for those who always are messing with tone, looking for either that perfect sound or just something weird and different.

This EP has a decent range of tones, from passive, just coil 2 (what I feel is just a great, clean sound), to active all 4 in series (what I've found to be the biggest, most "in your face" sound).

You can hear the EP here: Sins Of The Loose Buttons

I also engineered, mixed, and mastered the project. We put out a video a few months back that unfortunately didn't have the bass in it, but we just finished shooting another one and I promise I'm playing TGC the whole time.

Thanks Music Man for creating an instrument with such depth and versatility that it makes others feel like they're just missing something. This thing is a monster and I look forward to more recordings I make with it in the future.

I loved that video and song when you first posted it. Watched it like a dozen times. Just bought the EP, and from one engineer/bass player to another, it sounds excellent.
