He has only custom made 2 string basses because "I never used the other two strings".....

Sadly I've actually seen them live and have their first tape... hey it was the 9o's and lots of beer was involved (he had a 2 string p bass then)

Yes his name is Stig and he´s the bass-player in danish band "D.A.D. (Disneyland After Dark)

They started out in the early 80´s. Only 2-string basses and, if I´m correctly informed, he builds them himself. Here are some more pics:









Good band actually. Someone told me that he talked about making a double neck bass with one string on each neck.......
