I don't know if this will interest anyone but, i had been looking into a new stand, i was looking at the warwick rock stand, i thought they kinda pricey, but hey, you get what you pay for, right. After looking at them for a few minutes, it finally came too me that i thought i could make one for a LOT less then what they're chargeing. So, after planning and building here's my rendition of a warwick rock stand. I've still got a couple of things left to do to it but, my cost so far is under $25.00 .

neato! will it hold the guitars without tipping over?

one thing you can to to make it more stable is to fill it with sand... i did this with my road hockey nets... made it heavier and stronger...

Nice work! Can't argue with the price

I went looking for a multi stand and went for one that had partitions so that the guitar bodies were isolated from bumping into each other (in avatar). Looks like if I wasn't such a klutz I could have done it much cheaper

Anyway you can post the dimensions/parts used?

Parts list is as follows, i hope i didn't miss anything:

90 degree elbows - 6
T-connectors -12
End caps - 6
Couplings - 6
15' of 1 1/4" outside diameter PVC pipe (the thick stuff)

Cut your pipe as follows:
2 Uprights - 26 1/4"
2 Bottoms bars - 25 1/2"
2 - 3" spacers
15 - 1 3/4" spacers
2 - 4 3/4" Spacers
2 - 3 3/4" Spacers
4 - 2 1/2" spacers
I hope this helps, if i have time i'll try and do a photoshop to actually show where the pieces go if you need more help. I almost forgot i tube of Loctite epoxy for pvc, it has a 7 minute working time on it too give you time to level out the parts that need leveling.

Thanks a lot for that. I'll hop on making one soon and let you know how it went.
