Hey everybody - it's been a long time since I've posted a thread. But here goes...there's a reason I'm back now. It's my 50th birthday today, and my wonderful wife presented me this morning with a fantastic Axis Super Sport in pacific blue burst.. WOW! I can now post threads without feeling a fake! I would like to thank another forumite for aiding and abetting the wife in getting the guitar - SPUD MURPHY!

People must have thought that his wife and I were up to something going out of a lunchtime down "The Bay" (to Cardiff guitars)!! - we were, we were getting him the guitar!!

I've had it hidden away in my house for a while and it was hidden just yards away from him when he came over for a "jam fest" hee hee!!
Gotta say that it's a great looking guitar.

I'll get him to post pics of it.

It was a gas keeping the secret from him.

They say that OLP's are "gateway" guitars. You play em and then move on to the hard stuff. In my case, it was a Sub 1....then an ASS MM90 and I'm looking for my next fix..........Pete? Pete?
