Hey there everyone! Just posting to say hello to everyone and to introduce myself. My name's Rob from New York, NY and NATURALLY I play guitar since I am here. This is a very cool place with a lot of cool people with good insite. I've been reading a lot of threads lately since I am soon going to be a EBMM owner. Well, soon being hopefully tomorrow if things go well. See, I special ordered the Silhouette in vintage sunburst, rosewood board, matching headstock, blk perloid guard and vintage trem. It's been a grueling 2 months, but JUST yesturday I managed to find a store that has the SAME guitar AND also one in Burnt Apple (the nice sparkley one, you know what I'm talkin about! :) ). I am really tryin to get the Burnt Apple since it is not avialable to order anymore, PLUS it is BRAND NEW to my surprise. So I was hoping that the guys at the factory did not start making the guitar yet, so I can cancel that order AND save them some time since the instrument already exists. So we shall see what happens tomorrow. Later, my fellow guitar wizards ;) .

Welcome to the fun! This is a great group here - definitely one of the best forums on the web. Good luck, and be sure to post pics when you get your new axe!

Welcome.

Nice score on the Burnt apple if you get it...but there's still many plusses for awaiting your order, mainly never been abused and neglected while hanging at a store.

Vin sun combo is striking. But if the one at the store feels perfect and you can't let it pass, by all means grab it!

Welcome aboard! Let the hazing begin...oh wait! I didn't get mine!

Who's in charge here, anyway?!?

BTW, are you in the city? If so, does Manny's carry EBMM? I'll be there at the end of September for a day (staying in D.C. 9/28-10/01). If not Manny's, who in the Mid-Town area?

Thanks!

What's up guys. So I went yesturday to find out about what the status was on the Vintage Sunburst Silo that I ordered, and found out that it's pretty much almost done (in the buffing stage) :D I'm real excited to get it and play the heck outta the thing. However I still went to go check out the Burnt Apple Silo just for the heck of it, also since I have not played the Silo before. When I opened the case , I had no idea that it looked that good. It played AWESOME. So for you guys that are in NY, you have to go to Royal Music. None of the stores in the city ACTUALLY have any EBMM's  , However you can order them through Rudy's which is on the corner. Royal Music is in Brooklyn and also in Long Island. The guys that owns the place is an AWESOME guy. He also has GREAT prices and TONS of MM's. The price on the Burnt Apple is 1270. So I would HURRY up and get it if you guys are interested. And I'm PRETTY SURE the guy will give you a better price. I also saw an Axis in white sparkle, and they are all brand new, not second hand thingies. You guys can also actually go to MM site to build instrument, and just attempt to make the Silo with rosewood board, burnt apple, and black pickguard and find it. Royal Music store is the only one that is gonna come up, and just click on the title and yiou will the whole inventory of what the guy has, which is a TON. Well anyway, I'll let you guys know when the Silo in vintage comes in. :D Later.

Roubster,
Careful about listing prices. it's sorta verbotten around here. Better to offer to email price if anyone is interested.

There's really only a couple of things that the higher ups don't like, and it's one of them.

Thanx for that warning Keith, I'll definatly keep that in mind about the prices, I just thought it would be a grerat opportunity for someone at the forum to get that beauty, rather than someone else. Anyway, have a good one guys.
