You know that JacoP patch has to be the main reason I hang on to it. It is so nice. :D All the guitards I play with just love it. It can make a fretted Sr5 sound like very much like a fretless. That said you can't beat the real thing, which is why I am GASing so bad for an Sr5 fretless.

My main patch is a custom job with some compression, a very small amount of reverb and slightly overdriven. It works pretty well.

I don't know about you though, but I find the pedal incredibly noisy and trying to manually adjust the parameters just doesn't work. I suspect the latter may be a fault with my unit but its not worth fixing. As you say, the tuner is useful.

Rob,

The volume/gains on all those patches are all over the place. Having some compression at the end of my loop helps, but they are sporatic that it would take months to dial them all in to one level. That's part of reason I don't mess with most of them. I understand what you are talking about.

I used to find the need for in line effects, and tone shaping. When I bought my ball, and plugged it into my SVT4 Pro, my effects and tone stuff mysteriously started dissapearing...
