Greetings.. well needless to say this will be my first post on the EB Forum.. Basically I found my way here because of Gene Baker and Gil Vasquez.. Over the last few years I acquired a couple of the Baker instruments and all of a sudden, here I am
One thing I would like to ask is related to the original EVH Music Man guitars.. Way back when these instruments were released I placed an order for one at Corner Music in Nashville.. When the instrument finally came, it was one of the most sought out guitars around..at that time the EVH Music Man was getting more attention than any other new guitar I have ever seen..
It is my understanding this instrument was the first EVH to be released in Tennessee..The serial number is 381..
Over the years this guitar has remained in mint condition and probably has been played less than a couple of hours.. Now I know this sounds kind of strange, but I have a large collection of guitars and amps, and the EVH was bought as a possible investment..
Well, I have seen the value of this guitar go up and down like the stock market..
Having said all of this, does anyone have any idea what one of the first EVH's in Mint condition go for??
Here is a picture of the guitar
Thanks in advance for any information..
