New Guy With New Jp Blue Dawn

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the forum. My name is Shawn and I've been playing for about 12 or 13 years. Seriously playing for around 7 years. I was introduced to Ernie Ball Guitars when John Petrucci went to them from Ibanez. I just ordered my first Ernie Ball so I thought I'd start in or around the top of the list. I just ordered a John Petrucci Model in Blue Dawn finish. It's Fully Loaded with Peizo, inlays and matching headstock. It's coming with the limited edition case and 2007 inlay on the 12th fret. I will post pics as soon as I get it. I can't wait. Eating and sleeping will just be occupying my time until it arrives. Till next post, Later.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. It's good to be here. It took a while to get the funding for it, but I finally took the leap and got my first Ball. I'm glad to be a part of the club. Pics as soon as it comes in the door...

Hey everyone.. To answer a few questions... I found it for sale at Spencers Music in Kansas City. I just ordered it and it is currently in transit to its new home. I plan on running it through my Mesa Dual Rec. Head and Oversizd 4x12. If anyone has any suggestions on getting close to the JP sound, I'm all ears. I'm kinda running dry from forking out the cash for the Dream Guitar(no pun intended), so another head is not in the cards right now.

I plan on playing Rock, Metal, and Prog. My guitar player is currently attending Berkley in Boston and majoring in performance. I wanna blow his ears away when he hears this thing.
