Hi there
I've been lurking around here for a while now but have never felt i had reason to join in any discussions until now.
Last week I bought a new LE2006 Axis and I'm completely blown away. Every other guitar I have ever owned pales in comparison. When I bought it (at Machinehead Music in Hitchin, UK - the guys there were great, couldnt do enough for me and had the best EBMM stock I've seen in the UK), I tested it against a fair few other brands, and even a few other musicman models (which were great too) but it just felt miles better than any other guitar in the shop. The neck is absolutely flawless and so comfortable!!!
My dad is an ardent Gibson fan and had been trying to convince me to go in the Les Paul direction. He tried my guitar and 2 hours later when i finally got it off him he was so impressed he's eyeing up a 20th anniversary sillhouette now.
I've been poking around long enough to know that without pics it doesnt exist and that i need to add my serial number in the sticky thread but if you guys have any maintainance tips or forum advice etc i'd appreciate it! I'll post some pictures soon.
Cheers
Dan
