Hey all,

I recently made a trade off TGP for an 08 Luke in 'Ice Blue'
Been an Ibanez, Carvin and Fender player in the past.
Currently have a Carvin Bolt and the new to me Luke.
I can see the Luke being my no. 1.
Sounds and plays fantastic, exceeded my expectations.

I'm playing through a Guytron GT20 and a GDS Hand-wired 18 watt Marshall amp.
The Luke shines w/ either setup.

Will post up some pix when I get some decent ones worth showing.
The Ice Blue is tough to photograph, although I'm sure most know what it looks like.

Peace - Dan

Hi Dan!!!! Welcome to the forum!

I have to say so far my experience being in this forum since my switch to EBMM Guitars in 2010 has been really pleasant! Very supportive family!
I was also a huge ibanez/fender player before until i got my hands on my first EBMM and it has been an awesome trip ever since, i never looked back.
I am certain you will feel comfortable in here.
Congrats on your LUKE!

Welcome

Hi Dan. Congrats on your first EBMM and welcome to the forum. Lot's of good folks and good info here. Looking forward to the pics of your Luke when you have a chance to take them. The rule around here is "pics or it doesn't exist!".:D

Hmmm....I posted some pix and now that post is gone from the thread.
Did I do something wrong? I linked in the pix from Photobucket, perhaps they were too big?
Mods, feel free to email me w/ the rules or details.

They're back. When you have a low post count, posting pictures or links require sign off from a moderator (which I did yesterday). The thing is, when you edit a post with a link or picture, same procedure applie- so it went back to "moderated" status.

S'all good now.

Ah ha, very well then...yes I did edit the post cause the pix were doubled up.

Beej, I'm pretty sure I met you a few years ago at the Motor City Amp Show.
Guytron room / booth. I work part time w/ Graydon as a builder of the GT's.

Cool to see you on the EB forum as a mod.

Peace - Dan

Hey Dan- yeah! I totally remember you. Nice to see you round here.

I got turned on to Guytron via forum member Tommyindelaware (who's current day job is teching for Steve Morse). Got two GT100s that aren't going anywhere :)

I had the pleasure of playing on Tommy's Red Head GT100 when it was at Graydon's.
It was about the time I started working w/ him that he had it in the shop for a tune up.
If you check the Guytron Facebook page you'll see that Graydon re-created that version of the GT100 and he calls it the Red Clone.

Oh yeah- I remember talking with Graydon about that one.

One of my GT100s is about the same vintage. Bought it from Guy, one of the first 30 he made.
