Welcome Dan! Beautiful Luke you have there. I happen to be a co-worker of the guy you traded with. You both did very well, he is very happy on his end as well. Sounds like you both did very well. That is a great color, I was fortunate to see it in person and it did not disappoint. He got it from Pete DuBaldo, so you know it came from one of the best dealers there is!

Thanks! - Cool to hear that Rich is still happy w/ the trade. He's a great guy to deal with and everything went nice and smooth. The CT624 was and is a sweet guitar, just not my cup-o-tea. My son wanted to shoot me for trading it, but now that he has experienced the Luke tone and feel, he completely understands. Now if I can just get him to keep his hands off and play his own guitars perhaps my strings will last a little longer.... = : ) > "dad this whammy bar is awesome" Uh- yeah-I know.

Nice lookin' Luke True Gold BTW....

Yup, Rich is a great guy and he's thrilled with the Carvin. Love my True Gold Luke, the neck is just insanely beautiful and it's so much fun to play. I don't have to worry about the kids with my gear, they are all jocks and don't have any interest in my guitars. LOL! Take care and enjoy!

Hello, and welcome to the Forum...

That's cool that you let your son play your ebmm. I let my 14 year old son play mine, too.
