The 2006 winter namm show is now closed and what about the long awaited introduction of the new JP guitar? I have delayed my order of a 6 and 7 strings fully loaded JP's because of the news of the introduction of a new model in january 2006 and until now no news! BP you make great guitars but you're not so good to communicate about your product, all the others manufacturers have put some informations about their new products on their website, but nothing on yours.
Is it possible to clear this mystery? I really want my JPS!

The reason why there was no news is that there is no news. We went around and around and kept ending up back at the original. I guess I will accept your critique, but I think that we will introduce a new JP model when JP wants one. There is a chance that at the AUstin show we may change pickups, but that is not a given.

I apologize

I apologize, my goal was to have informations and not to offend in any case BP.
Thanks a lot BP I can now with great joy place my order for not one but two JPS fully loaded. With Great Respect.
PS: When I said "not good in communicating" it was intended on the commercial Ernie Ball/MusicMan Website, but I wasn't thinking of this board, the proof is BP quick answer!

Good point Keith is back on. We dont want him roaming around trying to find the lochness monster. GPS couldnt find his seeds. Now you just have to order a new guitar MrK...

Well I think the only change on JPs guitar is the PUPs no? I think he switched from whatever was in it customized DiMarzio, to a D-Sonic DiMarzio. That's what I saw on DiMarzio website. So just order a JP NOW, and just put the D-Sonic in it and you'll have JP's NEW Guitar set up ;) :p  . However I dont like the way that D-Sonic looks IMHO, but who cares about that right? Me likey 2 rows of hex poles!!! Best EVER look for pups!

Pets are cool

I love the JPs they are sweet playing and sounding guitars. Groovy arm rests, unique tremolos that are beasts, sweet pups, 24 frets and necks that make you say HMMMMMMMMM in such a good way.

I'm not new to MusicMan guitars, I'm the proud owner of one of first VH model(RED-july91'), and also of a LUKE I with a floyd(Pearl Red-Nov'96). I only play MusicMan guitars. I just would like to extend my addiction with 2 JPS(6/7).
