1. Pics of my new LE JP '06 to follow at the w/e (sorry guys! - too busy jamming to use the net when I'm at home) I think my musical inspration has tripled since I got my guitar & SCORE cd...

2. Will there be much difference in tone between the latest JP models with the d-sonic in, and the new mkII? I guess there must be, or there wouldn't be a new guitar...

Cheers, I'm off to the pub :)

Well the new JP hasn't been finalized but if you search for the infamous JP II thread, you'll find JP's own post in it in which he describes in detail, how it sounds.

I'm currently waiting for my 3rd JP. A Desert Gold JP6 w/ Piezo, natural headstock and dot inlays. It'll the first one I have with the D-Sonic in it. It should be done in about a month and I can't wait.

To my ears the D-sonic has some more "oomph" and is not quite as airy as the old style pickup. I haven't done an A-B yet, but I will this afternoon once my new JP arrives!

Cud, estimated build date of 11/17/06
