Thats ironic Mike, UPS damaged my case as well but not to the point I needed to return it but you have to push the end to latch it, but the guitar was perfect and thats what counts:)

Yeah...if it was just scuffed, I'd ignore it. Unfortunately, the vinyl covering has an 8-9 inch split down one edge. It's such a nice case and it's part of what makes the LE different, so I just can't ignore it...:(

As nice as those cases are, I prefer the SKB's as they will hold up to gigging much better.

It may seem silly, but when I get a guitar with a case that nice, I use a different case to carry the guitars to the gigs. Maybe they should make a case case.

That's what I'm going to do, but why have an extra case around, ya know?

Do all the EBMM guitars now have the metal/brushed trem control covers?

I ordered an extra trem cover plate for my JP6 last week (cuz of the tremol-no access, and I got it in the mail today and its plastic. Its all good though cuz I'll be able to cut a route in it much easier than that metal one.

Yea if that was my case I would want a replacement as well as it is a very nice case, but it is a beauty Mike glad you finally have it.

Freakin' Sick! Birdsye a plenty, too!

I love the look of the metal backplates. Maybe we could order some if we have older JPs? (Yes, I read petruccirocks02's post) :)

My rad red JP that came in last month had the metal plates. I thought it was pretty awesome too.

Thanks guys! I appreciate all the complements! It really is a sweet axe. I keep putting it away 'for the last time'. I guess maybe it's just meant to be a player!

Nice color

I really like the color of your new axe. I am deciding how to trick out a jp6 for myself and I don't see that color on the MM website. Is it new?

As Dead-Eye says, it was the 2007 limited edition color. The order window closed this summer, however several dealers still appear to have some in stock. If you search the web, you may find one.

Prior to 2007, it was one of the sparkle colors that were offered several years ago and then discontinued. If you search the forum on them, you'll find the whole story.
