Hi Guys,

My name is Carl Roa and I am a new EB/MM endorsee! Very happy to be here. My friend John Petrucci was kind enough to hook me up with the fine folks at EB/MM, and I am a proud new owner of the JP7 BFR in blackburst. The guitar sounds awesome, and the craftsmanship is second to none!

I was actually thinking about picking up one of these but this video clearly shows how close the pickup switch is. With my big hands, I don't think I should be steering this way. Wish there was one here locally to try.

Congrats and really nice playing, I definitely found that interesting. I am not big on theory though I taught myself enough to get by. I am figuring that the key would be F Dorian and by dropping down a whole step the G pentatonic would be using the notes from G Phrygian minus two notes, is that correct? If it is then I guess that C pentatonic could also be used as it would also be minor in the key of Eb as it would be Aeolian minus two notes. Okay now I have to pick up a guitar and see if this all pans out lol. Wow that opened my mind up.
