So is it logical to believe we would see these new models or iterations in a month at NAMM?
Only time will tell. 4/13 is NAMM's start date this year.So is it logical to believe we would see these new models or iterations in a month at NAMM?
Nope strap locks are no included.I know the Luke guitars come with locking tuners, but I thought i read somewhere that they also come with strap locks stock. Is that true or was I reading things?
It will be interesting to hear what it does. Its hard for me to go back to a single coil in the bridge unless it sounds like a humbucker. Since i got my luke2, my deluxe strat SSS has sat in the back of the closet. An SSS L4 would be awesome. Hopefully there's some kind of shiny metallic finish for it!
I’ve always wanted a dark purple color guitar and that plum purple from your linked post is sharp. However, I’m a sucker for red, and they release the red color with HSS I’d prob have to get that lolAnother colour i thinks needs come back is firemist purple. Perhaps with a kind of burst.

The grapes of wrath was also a fantastic looking finish.
Ooohh... This is getting interesting.
I have a spy. I have an idea of what it might be, and other things too. I wonder if I should do a pre-NAMM sneaky hint thread?Just saw this Video on Youtube. The Natural SSS Luke 4 looks pretty Sick. I wonder if that's just a Prototype that only got a Sealer, or if thats a new Finish.
I also wonder what kind of Wood they used. Looks like Alder, but it's pretty dark almost looks Mahagony Colorwise.
This also goes to show that it doesn't matter if Luke uses EMGs, Transitions, EBMM Custom Humbuckers or all Singlecoils.
Lukather always sounds like Luke. Just has to be in those magic Hands
As a first time possible owner ever even considering my first music man guitar (which would be a Luke) I think you should give us some sneaky hints! That way I can start selling off some other guitarsI have a spy. I have an idea of what it might be, and other things too. I wonder if I should do a pre-NAMM sneaky hint thread?![]()
Hi Gemmy - The typical Luke models that you see do not have a locking nut, so tuning adjustments are made like normal via the headstock tuners. One thing I want to ask about the Luke 3 and possible 4 models. How does the guitar have its own unique floating bridge but is still Able to be tuned at the headstock? Or should I say, how does it get away with not having fine tuners?
Just start selling them now! But whatever comes out in NAMM may not hit the stores straight away. So you may have time for down payment with your order right after NAMM and sell some of your kids to pay the balance before delivery. As a first time possible owner ever even considering my first music man guitar (which would be a Luke) I think you should give us some sneaky hints!
