Lady A featuring C.Y.Nashville.

Love how the mix highlights the bass, allowing you to keep drivin the song, much moreso than the drummer.

I only would want more organ in the mix at the end. Its too subtle (I AM a keyboard player, afterall). But its a very tasty little song.

I hear ya...Trust me.. I would love to remix this album .. I would mute the organ and the vocals and anything else that even comes close to walking over my bass hooks. No one wants to hear that crap. Maybe drew can work a function into the gamechanger that jams and regenerates the rest of the bands waveforms totally out of phase withitself passing only bass and drums through the stereo buss. I'd buy that album , even if there was some jerk in a cowboyhat on the cover, as long as I couldn't hear him singing. At all.

Ohh Man, ...I knew it, ...Nashville is one of the best music production centers in the world, ...that's why I'm glad that The Gamechanger is baptized right there!

Craig, ...You're the King Man!

Craig,
My exposure to Lady A has mainly been hearing the odd tune on the radio and thinking, "oh thats the guy that posts on the same forum as me" :D

Well I had a good listen to that song due to the curiosity of the game changer and man, thats is one sweet sound and some very catchy, no very very catchy bass lines on there, you now got me hooked for more. May you and your band have loads more success.

Best regards.

Craig, great parts! Just the right amount of "Duckbutter" applied.
The producer is wise to let you add your signature feel to this song.Keep em coming!

Man that's some DEEP talkin' bass right there...great playing, and not too busy. Wonder what setting you're using for the pickups?

thx for all the kind words everybody, it means alot coming from a group of great players... as far as octave-ing, and settings... this is all straight gamechanger, thru a markbass comp.. split signal , half amp, half direct... the amp is the markbass classic 300 (my fav) thru the cab dave was just ravin up, the 2x12. the bass setting is a gamechanger preset that drew cooked up.. somewhere on page 17 or 18 of complimentary life altering presets in the gamechanger app. i love this thing... you cant get bass that deep without access to all the tonal possibilities our heros have finally granted us access to... go get ya one... trust me.. thx drew, bp, dud, ryan and crew. well done sirs. this is the stuff that keeps me goin.
