New Luke Model

hi all, my name is bram, i'm a newbie here, it's so nice that i can join the discussion here..

i have a question about luke model,
i don't see redburst is available as luke's color(i see it in musicman's website),
do you think it's possible that redburst luke will comes out for the next periode/model?(or pearl red luke will comeback, it is a similar color i think)

because i really like that color(redburst/pearl red), but i don't want to buy petruci's EBMM(i don't like the neck)..and i've decided to have luke as my wife(after going around all these years)

btw, i confuse with that color options in the net(they said there's no redburst option for luke)
but yesterday i saw a redburst luke in the net...is it a repaint one?or is it original?

any body can help me?thank you very much for your respons...

about luke's robot and ebmm, i also confuse why steve changed the wood from mahogany to alder when he designed EBMM luke..actually his mahogany VA had a very good sound at that time..anyone has compare them both side by side?

Currently the pearl redburst color option is only available for the JP model (similar to Luke blue only being available in the Luke model).
Your picture is a bit small, but it looks like that luke may be an older model in the infamous Burnt Apple, which is a color that was discontinued along with several others a few years ago.

This looks like a vintage sunburst Luke to me... The only "burst" color currently available on that model.

yeah, that picture is not so clear for me too..but i think there is no "yellow" part at the centre(like vintage sunburst's has) of the body at that picture..

i wonder why does EBMM JP has so many color options...

btw any one knows why pearl red is discontinued?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I am pretty certain that Pearl Redburst has always been unique to the Petrucci model.

maybe i will pick the carbon blue pearl one.. it's have a strange look..it's a cool color i think..

That cannot be graphite pearl. Perhaps it's sapphire black? It looks WAY too dark! Compare it to fogman's graphite pearl Luke photo earlier in this thread.
