Hey guys!! A couple weeks ago me and a friend decided to take a random day trip to a nearby city for something to do. Well, we ended up stopping at a music store which is about the worst place for me to go. We walk in and there on the wall are 7 eb guitars!!!!! Thats unheard of around here! They had an axis, silhouette, y2d, 3 jps, and......a luke. I tried them all, and well as soon as a felt the luke in my hands, it was like some sort of gear awakening or something. The neck was to die for! I plugged in and bored my friend for what must have been the good part of an hour. All I could think of was that guitar for the rest of the week. So I posted my axis on ebay and sold it within two days. That was great except now I had to go drop money on the luke. Although the price seemed great, my dad manages a music store in town so I got him to call and see if the distributor had any in stock. He ended up talking to A.J. from customer service (said he was one of the nicest people hes ever dealt with), about becoming a dealer. So anyway, he said there was one in luke blue, but by the time my father becomes a dealer, it would most likely be gone. Soooo, long story short, me and a couple buds made the trek back to the city the day before yesterday to pick up my new rad red luke! I am actually soooo happy right now! This is such a nice guitar! I havent stopped playing it! The trem is perfect! The colour is actually amazing...I cant get enough! Well....without further ado, here it is in all its rad red glory! My new luke!....

***I cant get the picture to post! what am i doing wrong?

Congrats Aaron!

Are your pictures on a hosting site, like Photobucket? If so, then just use the "Insert Image" button in the tool bar above the entry field for these messages, and copy and paste the URL from the photo-hosting site. Should work....

But you will be too busy playing your new Luke, so I won't check back for pics for a while.....

Congrats and Welcome to the Rad Red LUKE Club...I felt the same way (about the neck) after the first time I played one. Good choice, as Rad red is going away.

Nice. Sometimes (depending on what you would have saved) it makes sense to go with a guitar you KNOW you love as they are all a bit different in some way.

I mean if its a color you like a lot and the neck is perfect, I wouldn't chance it to save a few bucks on a guitar that may not be its equal.

I've even payed a few hundred extra to have EB replace the neck on one of my lukes that for some reason hurt my hand. Best money I ever spent!

The Luke is intriguing indeed. I'd like to hear one with my gear setup. The only one i've played was at a store that treated me like some kid that couldn't play guitar. The sales guy said, "now this guitar doesn't have a pickguard so be careful" as he proceeded to plug me up to a ****ty little Marshall MG practice amp. The guitar felt awesome, and I could tell it WOULD sound awesome if it was hooked up to a decent amp. No wonder it's been there for so long! I might call and see how much they'd take for it since it's been there for ages. It's luke blue with a natty headstock. Very classy!

Congrats on your new guitar! Post some clips if you get a chance.
