Hi everyone. My name's Barry. I'm from P.E.I. Canada and last week I ordered a Music Man Axis. Premium Natural Flame Maple top with matching headstock. Could be a 4 - 6 month wait. It's gonna be hard to wait that long but it'll totally be worth it once it's in my hands. I'm kinda thinking a Petrucci could be next on my list. I'll post pics of the Axis when it does finally come. I've been reading the forum for the last couple of weeks so I don't end up asking the same questions that have been asked numerous times. Cheers.

Welcome Barry! Always nice to have another fellow Canuck join the enlightened ranks! And of course, you've picked the best of the best when you selected the Axis as your EBMM of choice! :D

Welcome, and when it comes in,

PICTURES!!!!!!!!!

My grandmother was from PEI.

You might need to pickup an EBMM just to hold you over that 4-6 months. I know of a silver sparkle AL, if your interested, let me know. It's just a ferry trip to Portland.

You guys are like drug pushers - one hint of interest and you're trying to make everyone addicts like you - I love it :)

Is there really such thing as a matching headstock when the body color is natural anyway?

Thanks for the welcome. I have a feeling this could be the first of many EB/MM's. I've been looking around the net to see if one might catch my eye to hold me over til i get my premium top. I'll probably just wait though. Still haven't tried a Petrucci yet, but I love the look of them plus I'm a fan of his as most of your probably are. Are the necks on Petrucci's a little bigger than the Axis?
