Hi all, new member..
My name is Peter Nilsson and I live in Gothenburg, Sweden.
So, I got addicted to Musicman Luke due to the nice neck and overall feel of the guitar.
These guitars sings really.

First picture is on me when I recorded my bands new CD, using my Luke 2 Blue Pearl with matching headstock.

The other pictures are my new Luke 2 BFR Ruby Red Burst, love this guitar already, only needed to add one spring, like to have 3 instead of 2.

Sheers Peter

Thank you all for the welcome.

So, the BFR made it to our rehearsal studio yesterday and it was amaizing and just as I like it after little tweaking to my liking.
New strings 009-046, 3 tremolo springs instead of 2, Tremolo still floating.
Funny thing is that it behaved just as my old Luke II Blue Pearl, out of tune after every solo even though I pre-stretched all strings.. But I know that everything will be settled after a while.
My Blue Pearl behaves like I have a Floyd Rose on it, even after a dive bomb :)

About the neck, the neck itself is a masterpiece, both in feeling and visual aspect, I'm a sucker for birdseye maple.

Hi Banjoplayer,
indeed it is.

This studio is something really special.
The huge Neve mixing consol was owned by Queen.

I attached a list of fameous groups and persons who has used this consol.
It's an historical artefact.

Sheers, Peter

May I touch your console? :)

I've hung out in Le Mobile - just breathing in the air and it was incredible.

Holy cow!
Is it the Neve from Mountain studios in Montreux? Love all the Artists on this list
Five years ago I stood in front of the Montreux casino without knowing that right around the corner is the famous entrance...

@ xjbebop: Thank you and I agree, totally mind blowing.

@ kestrou: If you come to Gothenburg I might be able for arrange a visit at this studio

@ banjoplayer: Yes it is same Neve, they have a picture with David Bowie and others sitting infront of this Neve.
I will also try to upload a Picture of Freddie smoking a cigarette in front of this Neve consol.

It's unbelivable to have used same inputs and outputs as Brian May, Angus and Malcome Young....
Also that Queens song "show must go on" has been recorded on this console.

And now a Ernie Ball Musicman Luke II Blue pearl has been recorded.. :)

The picture is a part of my rig I used.

What a great intro Peter!
Love the history.
Gotta admit Queen lost me after Jazz, but everything before it....Wow.
And GFTO by YES stands out as well.
Enjoy your guitar
