Hey Guys,
Just wanted to say that I'm a new member to the forums. I've been visiting for a while now and I've got to say that Ernie Ball has one of the best forums out there. Some of the guitar forums you read, it seems they are full of teenage punks who talk down to others who have simple questions that need to be answered. They expect you to know everything about musical instruments.

It's very different here. You guys seem to have a good time and are very polite and helpful when anyone needs questions answered. You guys seriously need to congratulate yourselves on that.

Anyway, I didn't want to register until I became an official member of the family. About two weeks ago I got my first Ball(Axis SuperSport with HoneyBurst finish and matching headstock and rosewood neck). No pictures yet but I hope to have them soon.

I'm 33 and I've played a lot of guitars. I'm not trying to grease the gears here but my axis is probably the most comfortable guitar I've played. I am now addicted, like many of you have already said about yourselves.

Speaking of my new addiction I was in a local guitar shop yesterday and came across a mint used Axis that I'm finding very hard to pass up.

I need someone to help me out with some information. I've got the serial # and was wondering if I could get the date of birth, color, the store it shipped to, etc.

Axis Super Sport Transparent Amber(I think) Serial # G18020

Thanks in advance,
Scott

Congrats Scott!

I'm also to T.O. and 30s. (34.) Every year the basement gets fuller with more MM equipment. It's a disease, alright.

Hey Guys

Thanks for all the posts. And a big thank you to Aziah for getting the info about the Axis SS. I could very well have two balls by the end of the weekend. I think I'm going to go to the shop and see if I can work out a deal.

I'm surprised to see that a lot of you are around my age or older. P.S. I didn't mean to offend anybody here that's in their teens or 20's. It's just that on some of the other forums of other guitar manufacturers it seems that these young guys are the ones that cause the trouble. Someone might ask a question that's already been asked or answered, but it might be their first time on the forum and instead of pointing them in the right direction, it seems to be the young guys(who need to grow up a little) that end up being rude to them. I'm sure you guys have come across this type of behavior on other forums.

I didn't mean that the young guys here would act that way.

I'll try to have pictures posted Friday night.

Take it easy
